Love going to the cinema? Thinking about taking in a movie outside this summer? We might have found the perfect location that combines both, and it’s on a boat.
Film lovers will be able to take in a collection of iconic movies this summer while sailing on a boat on the River Thames, London, courtesy of the Time Out Movies on the River series.
Sometimes there is nothing like enjoying a sunset cruise along the iconic Thames River.
For five nights each week from June to August, the Time Out Movies on The River, London’s first ever cinema on the Thames, is back for a third year offering food, drink and movie-fuelled evening cruises.
The floating cinema will begin its journey at the Tower of London and pass some of the cities most iconic sights before docking and letting you enjoy a collection of classic and modern films.
Some of the movies on rotation this year include Grease, Dirty Dancing, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Greatest Showman, Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star is Born, Top Gun, Romeo and Juliet, La La Land, Back to the Future and more.
The Movies on the River tickets are priced at £29 an will run five nights per week (Tuesday to Saturday) with an 8pm boarding time from Tower Pier from 4 June until mid-August.
