Upgrading your homeware can often begin and end in places like IKEA, Habitat, H&M and Made.com, so rather than going the usual route why not get inspired by the super luxe Gucci homeware collection in their new pop-up shop.
Everyone loves adding a touch of luxury living to the home. Whether it is opulent furnishings, colourful cushions, intricate candles or artistic lamps, there is always space for a bit of luxe and this collection from Gucci exemplifies that lifestyle.
To coincide with the Salone del Mobile Milan design fair, the Italian design house have unveiled a home decor pop-up store to showcase its latest houseware offerings, which include some must-see home masterpieces.
Impressively spanning two levels, the pop-up home decor dreamscape is lavishly decorated with the typical Gucci patterns and prints which line the unique homeware items and wallpapers.
Floral motifs are the mainstay of this collection, featured across items such as chaise lounges, dinner plates and velvet chairs.
The space is also decked out with a jaw-dropping marble fireplace and coffered ceiling to lend, which was hardly needed, to the feel of stepping into a grand, stately home.
To add yet another layer to the pop-up shop, Gucci have also unveiled an application which can be used around the Italian city.
Users of the app can explore 16 historic places in Milan such as the Piazza del Duomo and Piazza Affari, with varying Gucci home decor pieces popping up on screen as virtual sculptures.
The temporary pop-up store in Milan will remain open until the end of June, with the entire Gucci home decor collection available to buy online.
