IKEA are not just concerned with selling you the perfect couch, drawer set, or cabinet, they also want to teach you about proper sleeping habitats.
The Swedish furniture giant have partnered with National Geographic to create a series of films called “bedroom habitats” that highlight the range of challenges people face when it comes to getting a good sleep – and some of them are hilarious.
Created by National Geographic, with the help of global content creators Wavemaker, the fun-natured series looks to capture and illustrate humans in one of the most challenging environments – the bedroom.
We spend about one-third of our lifetime on planet earth asleep, but for some it is an uncomfortable experience.
That is why IKEA and National Geographic have partnered to show how much of an impact improved sleeping habits can have on lives.
There are four videos, all covering everything from a hilariously small mattress titled “small bed battle”, to the unrelenting threat of clutter overload called “empty nesters”.
Currently only the “small bed battle” video is available to watch, but the rest are coming soon.
The complete IKEA National Geographic bedroom habitats film series will be hosted on a dedicated National Geographic Bedroom Habitats microsite.
