If you’re dreaming of the perfect eco-friendly kitchen then you need to see this stunning creation by Etica Studio.
Not only it it constructed from upcycled materials, but it also runs on renewable energy…
There’s even an external structure created from rammed earth and concrete rubble (that would have otherwise gone to landfill).
The overall design has been personalised with a rich palette of eclectic references; from the owners’ love of Scandinavia to Brazilian architecture which helped inform the concrete backdrop within the space.
Furthermore, a love of 60s design shaped design elements such as the pale timber-and-ply units and graphic, tile countertops.
The overall effect feels natural and spacious, with plenty of greenery breathing life into the rooms.
“We wanted to integrate more sustainable elements and reclaimed materials” said Carla Karsakis founding architect of Etica Studio, the firm behind this project.
