The lessons come in six, 20-minute daily episodes, each aimed at different levels of learning.

The unique classes from the iconic nature explorer are part of a wider schedule of programming from the national broadcaster. Other classes include Manchester City star Sergio Aguero, who will help teach Spanish, and Professor Brian Cox will discuss science, the solar system and gravity.

Maths, English, and history are also on offer, all aiming to help children and young adults keep up with their learning and studies during the coronavirus lockdown.

The Sir David Attenborough geography lessons will be available for download from Monday 27 April.
