Ever wanted to visit the real life bank wizards use in the world of Harry Potter? Even walk into a very special vault hiding mysterious significance to the Potter-verse? Well, now you can.
Warner Bros. Studio tour London – The Making of Harry Potter have opened a brand new experience, allowing potterheads the chance to explore the original Gringotts Wizarding Bank, peek inside the mysterious Lestrange vault, and see the gallery of goblins.
At 16,500 square feet, the new addition is the largest expansion of the uber popular Harry Potter tour in central London, and couldn’t be a more perfect trip this summer.
Visitors will enter through the main banking hall, which has been decorated with three crystal chandeliers and populated with goblin tellers’ – all complete with inkwells, ledgers, money and, of course, suspicious gazes.
Also featured are the costumes and prosthetics for Bogrod, Griphook, and other goblin bankers who featured in the films. Each goblin prosthetic mask took months to create, with each hair individually inserted and veins painted on them by hand.
In the Lestrange Vault, visitors will be able to see a true treasure trove of famous items, including the real Sword of Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff’s cup, and even one of the Dark Lord Voldemort’s Horcruxes.
