Johnnie Walker first launched their Game of Thrones themed range back in 2018, a collection that included individual whiskies for each main house of Westeros.
Now the famous whisky maker and Game of Thrones are teaming up once again and introducing two new blends.
The two new whiskies are called “A Song of Ice and a Song of Fire. Both are traditional blended Scottish whiskies aimed at honouring the enduring legacy of Game of Thrones.
The Ice version has a 40.2 ABV and comes from the Clynelish Distillery, Sutherland, with the bottle baring the iconic Stark Direwolf in beautiful snowy white wooded scene. The flavour offers drinkers a crisp, clean taste with a cold, smooth finish.
The Fire whiskey hails from the Caol Lla distillery, Islay, packs a slightly bigger punch than its icy counterpart with a 40.8 ABV, and features the Targaryen dragon on the bottle. It is infused with subtle smoke flavours heated from the malts of the Caol Lla distillers to make it seem like you are actually breathing fire when enjoying a sip.
The bottles are expected to go on sale globally in October 2019.
Each Johnnie Walker Game of Thrones bottle is priced at £30, with additional shipping costs to be added at checkout. Both bottles can be pre-ordered at The Whiskey Exchange online.
