London is switching on all of its Christmasy displays and to make sure everyone, even scrooges, gets into the festive spirit these are some of the capital cities jolliest must-see giant trees and light shows on display throughout December.
Each year, the iconic London gallery transforms its courtyard into a winter wonderland ice skating rink, complete with a must-see Fortnum & Mason tree.

Since 1947, the city of Oslo gifts Britain a Norwegian fur every year and it is displayed at the iconic Trafalgar Square fountain.

The stylish London hotel, The Edition, has been given a festive face-lift courtesy of Luke Edward Hall.

This year, Carnaby Street features a glittering array of sea creatures created in collaboration with ocean conservation charity Project ZERO. The whole display was created using recycled, repurposed or reusable materials including water-based, eco-friendly, vegan paint.
Following Christmas, the installation will be donated to Project Zero to be re-used.
