With London constantly evolving and growing, so to is its architecture and this summer those looking to see a collection of jaw-dropping new buildings, designs and one-of-a-kind installations will get a chance to experience it all.
The London Festival of Architecture (LFA) unveiled their programme for June 2019 with an enormous 400-event strong catalog, which is sure to wet the appetite not just of design and style lovers but foodies and music aficionados too.
Every year the LFA selects a theme for their programme, 2019’s will be based on Boundaries, and will be approached from many different perspectives throughout the festival.
The line-up of events will feature experiences such as; a migration walk in the east end of London, a comedy safari of classic Londoner experiences, a seance at the Pitzhanger Manor, and an interactive tour along the royal docks featuring an illustrated guide.
The 2019 event will move away from the traditional printed images, text on walls, and static building exhibits, and move to more interactive experiences focused on group interaction, public engagement and family.
Events will feature talks, workshops, family events, walking tours and installations.
To help Londoners and visitors experience the full extent of LFA, there will be four festival hubs dotted across the city. One at London bridge, another at the royal docks, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square.
The London Festival of Architecture will run from the 1-30 of June 2019.
