If you love visiting tropical paradises we might have just found your dream job, with the added bonus of it being at a luxury Maldives resort and you’ll be spending time in the crystal blue ocean, a lot.
Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu have revealed they’re looking for an intern to join their turtle rescue centre for two weeks this summer, all expenses paid, to look after and entertain the resort’s incredible turtle population – dream job if you ask us.
The title is intern, but that doesn’t mean you will be going on coffee runs, endless photocopying, or running pointless errands, rather your responsibilities will be a lot more hands on with the resorts turtle population.
The Maldives turtle intern job involves working closely with the Marine Turtle Rescue Centre for two weeks beginning in August this year.
Each day the lucky intern will look after the turtles, feed them, clean tanks, helping on rescue missions, and learn first hand, from veterinary experts, how to treat and care for turtles.
The role will also include posting pictures of them on the resorts social media accounts.
The only downside is the job isn’t paid, but the applicant will receive full board benefits and have the chance to make the most of the resorts amenities, which include sunset cruises, scuba diving, dolphin watching, and snorkeling in protected ocean areas.
If this is your idea of heaven, the vacancy is open worldwide, with no previous turtle experience required.
To apply, simply submit a two to three minute video and a 500-word cover letter explaining why you would be a good fit for the role by 31 June to Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu online.
