One of the things that signify the start of Spring is the period ramping up to Easter and Costa is definitely preparing us for Easter with their newest Spring menu which is filled with Easter-themed treats.
The newest menu is not only pretty to look at (in terms of the treats which we’ll get into in a moment), but it includes vegan and gluten-free options. That is for both sweet and savoury options so all cravings can be satisfied.
Why not go for a chocolate-filled cornflake nest topped with mini Easter eggs to satisfy your sweet tooth? (£1.95)
Or better yet, you could try the light and crispy Costa Coffee Snackwafers, which come in two cream filled flavours – cocoa and vanilla, each for £1.20.
“With spring being a time to try new something new, there is no better time to introduce new seasonal items for our customers to enjoy, Costa’s commercial marketing director, Eric Tavoukdjian, said. “We are excited to expand our vegetarian and gluten-free range, as well as offering a variety of Easter themed treats to Costa fans.”
For those avoiding gluten, you can enjoy a raspberry and coconut bar made up of gluten-free pastry with a raspberry and sultana filling topped of with a tropical coconut drizzle – yum. (£1.80)
And the coffee chain’s Cheese Twist (£1.99) sees a buttery puff pastry completed with mature cheddar and parmesan-style cheese.
Costa’s breakfast menu includes the introduction of the Costa Coffee Bircher (£2.35), made with Greek-style yoghurt, grated apple, apple juice, oats, blueberry and mixed berry compote, all topped with dried cranberries and a scattering of pumpkin seeds.
