Oliver Bonas Is Hoping to Help UK Youth with a New Charity Partnership

Oliver Bonas have announced they are partnering with UK Youth to help support the challenges facing young people across the UK today.

The home decor specialists revealed they will be supporting the UK charity in 2019 and 2020, hoping to raise awareness of the youth focused organisation’s work. The partnership is part of Oliver Bonas Be Kind Charity initiative and will include a range of products developed with the UK Youth team and many of the young people they support.

The collaboration will also feature donations and fundraising, along with offering unique engagement opportunities for young people to develop their work skills and experience.

Who are UK Youth

UK Youth are a national charity committed to providing access to high quality services in every community to help young people feel empowered they can build bright futures, regardless of their upbringing or circumstances.

The charities network of 3,536 local youth organisations can reach of 1.5 million young people across the UK.

In 2018, 94,913 young people took part in UK Youth programmes and initiatives, with 64 percent reporting an increase in their capabilities that employers have identified as key skills, which include self-confidence, self-awareness, motivation, personal responsibility, resilience and communication.

The partnership with Oliver Bonas is hoped to further raise awareness of the importance of empowering today’s youth.

The Oliver Bonas UK Youth collection will feature products such as picture frames, ceramic bowls and make-up bags with proceeds from the sale of each product going to the support of UK Youth.

The high street store will also be donating 4p out of every 5p paper bag sold, to UK Youth.

The collection ranges in price from £8.50 to £30, and are available in store or online at Oliver Bonas.
