If being surrounded by nature is your cup of tea, then this spectacular eco-friendly rainforest afternoon tea might just be for you.
Taking place at Petersham Nurseries, a garden centre and food haven based in Covent Garden, London, the experience aims to raise money for rainforest charity Cool Earth with its environmentally conscious afternoon tea.
Open until March 29, the experience donates profits from each tea to help halt deforestation and empower rainforest communities working to lessen the impact of climate change.
Naturally, the afternoon tea has a spectacular rainforest theme that not only looks like your next Instagram post all wrapped up, but uses locally and ethically sourced ingredients.
Enjoy delicious sugary treats including Peruvian chocolate and coffee bean macarons, classic battenberg cake and victoria sponge filled with seasonal jam and decorated with garden flowers.
There’s even squash and chilli quiche, cauliflower pani puri and beetroot, buckwheat and walnut crostata if you prefer the savoury side.
Finish off your experience with miniature rhubarb and custard tartlets and a seasonal bellini or non-alcoholic cocktail.
The Cool Earth Afternoon Tea is available at Petersham Nurseries in Covent Garden and costs £55 per person with a donation from each tea going to the Cool Earth charity. Available until Mar 29.
