The world’s number one travel experience has just been revealed by Trip Advisor and you might struggle to figure out what, and where, it is.

The holiday rating service unveiled the most sought after holiday experience as part of their Trip Advisor Travel Experience 2019, where they collected ratings from travelers experiences and where travelers most wanted to visit.

If we asked what you to consider the most sought after travel destination in the world you could be there for hours, going through hundreds of potential one-of-a-kind locations across the globe, there are just so many to choice from.

The Trip Advisor travel experience list manages to distill what is a very exhaustive list of dreamy locations and experiences around the world down to just ten places.

Number ten is white water rafting on the Kaituna River, New Zealand. Number nine is the Xian evening food tour by tuktuk in Shaanxi, China, with number eight a tour of the Indonesian jungle in Ubud, Bali.

Seven through five were the Anne Frank canal tour in the Netherlands, a private guided tour of Lle de France, and a Red Rock Canyon electric bike tour in Las Vegas.

At number four was a snorkeling silfra tour in Iceland, a sightseeing tour of Tuscany in Italy comes in at number three, and a cruise down the Chicago river taking in stunning architecture.

The number one Trip Advisor experience was revealed to be the tour of the holy city of the Vatican, along with the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, in Rome, Italy.
