In an interview with Numero magazine, the fashion designer said: “She is peaceful, funny, fun and gracious, she’s pretty to look at and has good poise, but her main quality is that she doesn’t talk. It was love at first sight.”
She is brushed four times a day and visits a doctor
Choupette’s coat was indicated to be so shiny due to the amount of daily brushing she received. Karl Lagerfeld also stated she was “body conscious” and took regular visits to see the doctor.

“[Choupette] stays always with me and she has two personal maids,” the creative director said.
“They play with her, they have to take care of her beautiful white hair, the beauty treatments for her eyes, and they entertain her. She is the centre of the world. If you saw her, you would understand.”
She makes millions
In 2015, it the creative director reported that Choupette had earned over 3 million Euros in the previous years in commercial projects.
“I don’t allow her to do foodstuffs and things like this, ” he said. “She’s too sophisticated for that”
